Open House Pictures is a South Yorkshire based production company. Our aim is to bring together communities to create cinematic content that entertains, promotes and enriches. As a business we write, design, plan, film and market our content in the UK at current.
We will also collaborate with businesses to produce commercial videos for their marketing strategies. Having been newly appointed as Director of Publicity of the Dilys Guite Players I thought that it would be a good idea to somehow try and publicise the DGP and thank the membership for all their hard work.
Luckily, my Marketing Intern knew the work of Open House Pictures and recommended them to me. She suggested that they could make a promotional video that would be the answer to both of these aims. The DGP are keen to use a multi-platform approach so the idea of making a video was warmly welcomed.
Open House Pictures were contacted and Joe and Dan invited to join us at our up and coming annual members social event.
This proved the ideal opportunity to get to know them and discuss the remit. It was delightful meeting Joe and Dan. They are attentive and enthusiastic about their work and made sure a variety of members were interviewed and filmed.
They kept in touch with me throughout all aspects of the project and returned on a couple more occasions to film rehearsals in progress

Open House Pictures have been brilliant. I gave them a challenging brief to make a film about the rehearsal process for a show and they did it with great sensitivity and professionalism. They knew that, to get the footage they needed, they had to be around, but not intrusive. They knew that they had to grab the right moment to speak to the people involved, without distracting them from their rehearsals. They also knew that the final edit had to be interesting and compelling. They did all these things and more. I'd recommend them
